Bridging the Gap Between Expert Knowledge and Your Living Room

Hi, I’m Samantha. Welcome to SEED Early Childhood Educational Blog.

As a parent, you may often find yourself at a crossroads of "I don’t know what to do" and "I can't afford a private consultant to find out." I’ve worked with parents for over 15 years, and I’ve seen this struggle too many times—dedicated parents eager to give their children the best start, but held back by confusing jargon, long waiting lists, or expensive paywalls.

A bit about me

I have a huge passion for children, and I’m all in for parent partnership. I love advising and supporting in the educational arena. I have 15+ years of experience working with children aged 0 to 18 years, but I specialise in early years education. I also have experience working 1:1 with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) such as Autism, Down’s Syndrome and Emotional Disorder. Read a bit more about me here.

Why I started this blog

I've witnessed first hand how many families feel overwhelmed by the lack of professional and specialist information. That's why I created this blog: to democratise access to reliable, specialist-backed insights on early childhood education and SEN and to connect parents with professionals.

Drawing from my hands-on experience in classrooms, nurseries, and family support, I break down complex topics into practical, everyday insights. Whether it's understanding behavioural milestones, navigating educational hurdles, or fostering creativity through play, my goal is to empower with tools that are free.

What You’ll Find Here

Here, you'll find evidence-based tips and real-life stories. I host interviews and guest features with educators, specialists, and other experts in the field, bringing you diverse perspectives. Join me in turning "I don’t know" into "I’ve got this," one post at a time. This isn't just another "parenting hack" site filled with quick fixes and trends. This blog exists to bridge the gap by sharing evidence-based information. I want to provide you with a direct line to the pros—real, evidence-based guidance from the world of early childhood education and SEN.

In a hurry?

I created this platform as a solo project with a clear mission: to provide accessible, professional insights into child development and education for parents in the UK and beyond. My goal is simple—to empower you with the knowledge and confidence to support your child's growth, one insightful post at a time. If you're a parent feeling lost in the sea of information, let's journey through parenthood together.
